History

The society was formed in June 2022 in response to the UAE’s evolving tax landscape, especially following the introduction of Corporate Tax and Transfer Pricing regulations. It has become a hub for tax professionals to collaborate, learn, and influence policy through workshops, conferences, and publications. Founded by a coalition of tax professionals, industry leaders, and government stakeholders, the Society emerged as a unifying platform to address the growing need for expertise, collaboration, and education in taxation. Over the years, we have grown into a cornerstone of the UAE’s tax community, championing best practices, fostering dialogue, and supporting the nation’s transition to a diversified, knowledge-driven economy.

From our inception, we have prioritized bridging the gap between policymakers, businesses, and tax practitioners.
